Teacher Introduction
Hi! My names is Caroline Dill. I am a 7th year teacher and this is my third year at South Gibson High School. My husband and I are huge football and baseball fans. My personal favorites are the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Braves (sorry not sorry Cardinals fans!) We have 4 fur babies (2 cats and 2 dogs) and we welcomed our first child into the world January 2019! I love series books and movies. I know it's cheesy, but I feel like the characters are almost family members by the end of the series.
I also love to travel and have even had the privilege to travel overseas to Kenya, Africa. Recently, I and members of my Theater Troupe visited NYC where we met with Broadway professionals, saw 2 incredible musicals, and got a glimpse of how New Yorkers live. I'm originally from Colorado, so I love to go back to visit my family and take some time to refocus and refresh.
As a teacher, I love having fun in the classroom. I am a firm believer that if I'm not having fun, then neither are my students. I like to have a constant flow of activities where we can incorporate technology and discuss important topics and issues that are relevant to the curriculum. If you ever need to get in touch with me, I prefer to use the Remind app. That information is on the "get in touch" tab. It is a requirement for each of my students and parents to sign up for Remind. It's free and the best way to not only get in touch with me but to also stay updated on class events and reminders. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
